What are monthly sewer rates?

Monthly Sewer Rates are what it costs an existing customer to receive sewer service from the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SASD). In addition to our bill, most customers will receive bills from the Sacramento Regional County Sanitation District (SRCSD). The difference is that SASD is responsible for service from your home or business - via collection pipes - to SRCSD's interceptor pipes that connect to the Sacramento Regional Water Treatment Plant. What are Sewer Impact Fees?
