Construction activity is currently underway on Torrente Way (between Val Verde Way and Monterosa Court) and will then proceed into the Bufferlands which surrounds the Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Work on Torrente Way began in July and requires the use of a 100 foot tent, which blocks driveway access to five homes. Designated parking spots are maintained with 24 hour security and sidewalk access available at all times. Impacted Torrente Way residents keep in close contact with the project team and are well aware of the scheduled work.

In an effort to maintain reliable sewer service, Sacramento Area Sewer District will rehabilitate deteriorated pipelines serving the southeastern portion of Sacramento (see project area map). Work began in September 2009 and will be complete in Fall 2010.
