Double-Wye Replacement Project: Schedule

The Double Wye Replacement Project is a phased 4-year construction effort, with final completion in 2007. Crews will rehabilitate sewer connections house-by-house. Each house will be inconvenienced for only a brief time. Our goal is to rehabilitate SASD sewer pipes quickly, safely, and with as little disruption to you and your property as possible.

Sewer line rehabilitation will take place Monday thru Saturday from 7am to 5 pm.

To find out when construction is expected to begin or be complete in your area, please review the schedules below.

Status and Timeline:

Rehabilitation work for construction year 2005-2006 began in August 2005. The work area for most properties will extend from the street to the back of the sidewalk; however, in some cases the work will extend slightly into the front yard. The extent of the construction will depend on the location of the double wye on the existing sewer service pipes. After construction has been completed, crews will re-fill the trench with soil. Approximately one month after construction, when the soil has settled, crews will return to restore the easement, your property and landscaping to its original condition (see "before & after" photos).
