Harvest Water Traffic Advisory – November 1, 2024

The following closures are currently in place or planned as part of Harvest Water pipeline construction. Please see attached road closure map for details on current closures in place and which roadways remain accessible.

Paving Work Scheduled for Franklin Boulevard and Bruceville Road

Beginning Monday, November 4, 2024, crews will be paving sections of Franklin Boulevard and Bruceville Road where Harvest Water construction has been completed. On Franklin Boulevard, work will begin Monday, November 4 from north of Bilby Road to the Core Road intersection. Later in the week, paving will take place on Bruceville Road north of Eschinger Road. Paving will require temporary lane shifts with flaggers in place to direct traffic. No road closures are required for this work.

Road Closure Status

  • Point Pleasant Road between Bruceville Road and Ed Rau Road is scheduled to close the week of November 11. Traffic using Point Pleasant as a detour will be diverted to Eschinger and Ed Rau Roads.
  • Bruceville Road between Twin Cities and Camp Road remains closed through early December 2024. Bruceville Road between Camp and Lambert Roads is also closed to through traffic during this time, with local traffic still able to access this section of Bruceville to enter local properties.
  • Eschinger Road between Carroll Road and West Stockton Boulevard remains closed until late December 2024.
  • Core Road remains closed until early 2025. Local residents are asked to enter their properties from the east (Ed Rau Road).
  • Franklin Boulevard road closures in place are:
    • between Hood Franklin and Core Roads (anticipated to re-open week of November 4, 2024)
    • between Core and Point Pleasant Roads (until December)
    • between Point Pleasant and Lambert Roads (until early 2025)
  • Hein Road remains closed through November 8, 2024.
  • Within the city of Elk Grove, the northbound lanes on the east side of Franklin Boulevard between Sims Road and Laguna Boulevard are closed, with all traffic diverted to the southbound lanes on the east side. These lane closures are in place until early 2025.

Road closure timing is subject to change. Local residents and emergency vehicles can access properties within work zones at all times throughout construction. Please visit the Harvest Water webpage for the latest construction timing and updates.
