SacSewer partners with contractors and other businesses to support our business needs. We will post competitive solicitations, such as Request for Proposals (RFP), Request for Qualification (RFQ), Request for Bid (RFB), and Notice to Contractors (NTC) for various projects.

Categories of Contracting Opportunities

01. Construction
Construction opportunities for projects involving capital expansions, repair, rehabilitation, and replacement for local collection pipes, interceptors, pump stations, and treatment facilities.
02. Purchasing Goods and Services

These opportunities may include but are not limited to the following: sewer maintenance and repair, non sewer maintenance or repair, work of improvements, service/software agreements.

03. Professional Services
Technical or consultant services that provide support to and facilitate operations and the governmental functions of SacSewer. Examples of Professional Services include but are not limited to the following: 
  • Licensed professional services, such as engineering or architectural design services
  • Consulting services for information technology, communications, fiscal, and legislative and regulation
  • Trainer services
  • Educational services

Registration Requirement for Public Works Projects

Contractors/sub-contractors and consultants/sub-consultants currently conducting, or planning to conduct business with the Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer) for public works projects must Register with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Read the memorandum here for details
