EchoWater Facility Tours

SacSewer hosts a series of FREE public tours between April and October at the EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility. These educational tours offer a unique, behind-the-scenes look at where our customers’ sewage goes after they flush their toilets, wash their dishes, or do laundry.

Registration
Public tours are free;
advanced registration required.

Tour Length
3 hours total. Classroom presentation (60 minutes), walking and bus portion (120 minutes).

Dress Code
Closed-toed shoes are required as tour groups will be walking through industrial areas.

Age Restriction
Children under 12 are not permitted on public tours; an adult must accompany tour participants who are minors.

These tours are held between April and October and offer a unique, behind-the-scenes look at where our customers’ sewage goes after they flush their toilets or wash their dishes. Additionally, participants learn how SacSewer provides reliable service and protects our natural resources.
