Harvest Water Traffic Advisory – September 27

The following closures are currently in place or planned as part of Harvest Water pipeline construction. Please see the road closure map below for details on current closures in place and which roadways remain accessible.

Current and Pending Road and Lane Closures

  • NEW road closures:
    • Camp Road is currently closed to non-residents through approximately late October. This is not a through road, so no detour is in place.
    • Core Road will be closed to through traffic beginning September 30 through early 2025. Local residents will need to enter and exit the area from Ed Rau Road or Eschinger Road to the east to access their properties.
  • Franklin Boulevard between Hood Franklin and Core Roads remains closed until late November 2024.
  • Franklin Boulevard between Lambert and Twin Cities Roads remains closed until early October 2024.
  • Eschinger Road between Carroll Road and West Stockton Boulevard remains closed until late December 2024.
  • Within the city of Elk Grove, the northbound lanes on the east side of Franklin Boulevard between Sims Road and Laguna Boulevard are closed, with all traffic diverted to the southbound lanes on the east side. These lane closures are in place until early 2025.

The following closures remain in place for non-local traffic, but local residents who live in the community may drive on these roadways:

  • Lambert Road between Bruceville Road and Point Pleasant Road is now open to local traffic.
  • Franklin Boulevard between Lambert and Point Pleasant Roads is also open to local traffic.

Road closure timing is subject to change. Local residents and emergency vehicles can access properties within work zones at all times throughout construction. Please visit SacHarvestWater.org for the latest construction timing and updates.
