SacSewer’s EchoWater Project receives Honor Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Engineering Excellence Award Gala is an annual celebration to honor projects worldwide that demonstrate innovation, creative problem-solving for complex issues, and improvements to our world.

Among many worldwide projects in the running, SacSewer received the Honor Award for the EchoWater Project. This top honor highlights EchoWater Resource Recovery Facility’s ability to release highly treated water to the Sacramento River and provide recycled water for beneficial uses, like agriculture irrigation through the Harvest Water program.

The EchoWater Project began over a decade ago and was completed in spring 2023. As the ACEC award illustrates—along with many other awards secured for this project—the EchoWater Project name continues to remain deeply revered nationally and internationally in the water and sewage industry.
