Water Recycling Program
After the treatment process, water is either discharged to the bottom of the Sacramento River through an 800 foot-long pipe or distributed throughout the community for recycled water purposes.

Beyond using recycled water for local parks and landscapes, our recycled water is treated to such a high standard that a portion of it can be used for Harvest Water–a program that will provide recycled water to irrigate agricultural land and existing habitats in southern Sacramento County.
